Who am I? I’m Dana Huyge! I’m a musician living in Mexico New York, and I have degrees from the University of Michigan and the Eastman School of Music. I’m a performing violist and bass singer, and arranger.

What am I doing? In short, I’m…

  • teaching private violin and viola lessons to beginners as old as four, and as young as retiree hobbyists.
  • performing as a recitalist and as an orchestral musician with such groups as the Albany Symphony Orchestra, and Symphoria, Central New York’s premiere symphony orchestra.
  • performing with the Clinton String Quartet at special events – weddings, receptions etc.
  • enriching the community with interactive/discussion based classes and recitals.

What can I do for you? I offer private lessons in violin and viola! I also provide performances, either in a recital setting, or in an accompanying fashion for your special event.
